WHAT ARE WAGE SUBSIDIES

Wage subsidies are payments that help offset the early costs of bringing someone new into your team. Eligible employers may be able to access up to $10,000 when hiring through Workspace, via government programs such as Inclusive Employment Australia and Workforce Australia.

They’re designed to help you recruit with confidence, while giving your new employee the time and support to settle in. A wage subsidy can help you:

  • Support onboarding and training
  • Build sustainable, long-term employment

A fair way to set pay based on assessed productivity, so a role is never all-or-nothing. The independent assessment is government-funded, and we guide you through it.
