WHAT IS IT?
Help to stay in the job you have.
Most employment support is about finding work. Work Assist is different, it’s about keeping it. If a disability, injury or health condition has started to affect how you manage your role, Work Assist provides the practical support to help you stay in your job and keep doing it well.
It’s a free service funded by the Australian Government, available through Inclusive Employment Australia and at Workspace by Echo, we’re here to deliver it alongside you and your employer.
WHAT SUPPORT LOOKS LIKE
Practical support, shaped around your job.
No two workplaces are the same, so Work Assist is tailored to what you and your role actually need. Depending on your situation, that might include:
IS IT FOR ME?
Is Work Assist right for you?
Work Assist is generally for people who are already in a job, but are finding it harder to manage because of a disability, injury or health condition that’s putting their employment at risk.
To take part, you’ll usually need to have been in your current role for a period of time (generally at least 12 weeks) and have an assessed capacity to work under 30 hours a week. The good news is you don’t have to sort any of that out before you reach out. Get in touch and we’ll help you understand whether Work Assist is right for you, and what happens next.

Workspace acknowledges the Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the first inhabitants of the nation and the traditional custodians of the lands where we live, learn and work.
