WORK ASSIST FOR EMPLOYERS

Help a valued employee stay in their job.

When an injury, illness or health condition makes work harder for one of your team, the right support can help them keep doing what they do well. Work Assist gives you and your employee that support.

WHEN A TEAM MEMBER NEEDS SUPPORT

Help them keep doing what they do best.

Sometimes an injury, illness or health condition can make work harder for one of your team. When that happens, there’s practical support available to help them stay well and keep contributing. Work Assist puts the right adjustments and help in place so a valued team member can keep doing their job with confidence.

Good to know: Work Assist is available even if your employee has never worked with us before. If something’s changed for someone on your team, that’s reason enough to reach out.

WHAT SUPPORT LOOKS LIKE

Practical support, shaped around your job.

No two workplaces are the same, so Work Assist is tailored to what you and your role actually need. Depending on your situation, that might include:

Workplace adjustments
Changes to how, where or when they work that make the job easier to manage.

Equipment & technology
Funding and advice for equipment or assistive technology that helps them keep working.

On-the-job support
Practical, hands-on help so your employee can stay on top of their role.

Advice for your team
Guidance for you and your managers on how to support your employee well.

Ongoing support
We stay in touch and check in, so the arrangement keeps working over time.

A clear plan
Support organised around realistic, manageable steps for everyone involved.

IS IT FOR US?

When Work Assist can help.

Work Assist may suit you if a disability, injury or health condition is affecting how one of your team manages their role, and some support would help them keep doing it well. They’ll usually have been in their role for a period of time (generally at least 12 weeks), with an assessed capacity to work.

Not sure if it fits your situation? You don’t need to work that out before you reach out, that’s our job. Get in touch and we’ll help you understand your options and what happens next.
