TAILORED SUPPORT

Mental health support.

Living with a mental health condition shouldn’t stand between you and meaningful work. We offer understanding, flexible support to help you find and keep a job, at a pace that feels right for you.

HOW WE HELP

Work and mental health, supported together.

Anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions are far more common than many people realise and they shouldn’t be a barrier to meaningful work. At Workspace, we support people living with mental health conditions to build confidence, find a job that suits them, and stay well in their role.

This support is part of Inclusive Employment Australia, the Australian Government’s specialist employment program so it’s woven through everything. We meet you where you are, and move forward together at a pace that works for you.

Working alongside your supports: We provide employment support, not clinical treatment — and we work in step with the people already supporting your health, like your GP or mental health professional.

WHAT SUPPORT LOOKS LIKE

Gentle, practical, and shaped around you.

Everyone’s experience is different, so your support is built around what helps you. It might include:

Support at your pace
We move at a speed that feels right for you, with no pressure to rush before you’re ready.

A team that understands
People who know that some days are harder than others, and who meet you with patience.

Building confidence
Small, practical steps to rebuild self-belief and feel ready for work again.

Finding the right fit
Roles and workplaces that suit your strengths and support your wellbeing.

Support to stay in work
Help to settle in and keep your job once you’ve started — for as long as you need it.

Alongside your supports
We work in step with the people already in your corner, so your support joins up.

YOU ARE NOT ALONE IN THIS

The right job can be good for you.

When work is the right fit and properly supported, it can bring more than an income. Routine, purpose, connection and a sense of achievement can all be part of staying well and we’ll help you find work that supports your life, rather than adds to the load.

Whatever you’re managing, you don’t have to figure out the work side on your own.

Who this support is for

This support is for people living with a mental health condition — such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress and many others — where it affects their work or their journey towards it. You don't need things to have reached a crisis point to be worth supporting, and you don't need to have it all worked out before you reach out. If you're not sure whether you're eligible or where to start, that's completely okay. Have a chat with us and we'll help you understand your options and what happens next.

Take the first step.

There’s no pressure and no rush. When you’re ready, we’re here to listen and help you find a way forward that works for you.
